European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI)

EBSI leverages the decentralization and immutability properties of blockchain to enable the creation of new European public services. It can be used to store information in a trusted and decentralized way, enabling new forms of verification, traceability and transparency for citizens. The main challenge of EBSI is to make information easy to verify and almost impossible to forge, to improve citizens' mobility, to offer better public services and to boost the economic development of companies. To this end, the Early Adopters programme, large-scale pilots and other use cases collaborate to improve the services offered, accelerating the adoption of EBSI.
