Twin in Omniverse enabled by 5G & AI

Together with Manufacturing/Auto, NVIDIA and Fanuc, we have recreated a robot arm in NVIDIA omniverse with a digital twin. The physical robot arm is connected via 5G and monitored via a 5G camera. We trained it with AI to control the physical robot arm which allows to be reused in different environments.

• In our centralized and lean solution approach, establishing a stable and real-time cross-country connection was a challenge.
• Another critical topic to solve was generating a three-dimensional object with only a 5G camera.
