5G Network Quality Monetization

The goal is to increase the level of network automation and based on the quality of experience perceived to reach Zero Touch Operation capabilities using, AI, and Digital twin.

This allows users to work with what-if scenarios and take more informed strategic decisions in relation to customer experience, while also exposing network parameters to third parties to boost new critical services.

The project drives zero-touch 5G network operations to enable an autonomous customer experience index (CEI) based on perceived quality of service metrics from real users. The CEI is processed using state-of-the-art digital twin technology and machine learning algorithms for service orchestration. New use cases now exist for improving network operation, optimizing the network for sustainability, and including the concept of digital twin for the network and data exposure.

The project partners are Telefónica, Elisa, Nokia, Optare and Elisa Polystar. The project has been realised in the framework of TMForum's Catalyst projects.
